Thanks for the nice comments, I am amazed at the small amount of ashes produced by this stove . I also put a clean out door on the other side of the chimney, just below the pipe hole. This way I can clean out that horizontal pipe during the season easily , probably while the stove is still burning. Did not want to move that thing around too much. This "little" stove weighs 420# the 50-93 probably weighs over 5 ?
I did everything as MFG. instructions but did not get township inspection involved. I did add it to my insurance policy to cover my ___ .

Again, awesome looking install. And great idea putting a clean out on the other side, that's in there pretty tight.
You're right the 50-93 is somewhere over 500, I paid some grunts to move
Mine, and that's where it's gonna stay for a long time.

It looks like the stove pipe comes straight out of the stove into the chimney.
Why?

My pipe goes directly into the chimney, yes. I needed to put the stove as close to the wall as possible due to space issues (small house). Plus less turns are desirable for an efficient set up and ease of cleaning

Plus, that set-up looks more like a fireplace than when the pipe goes thru the wall above the stove.VERY neat, clean looking install,we get to see plenty with the pipe sticking above the stove.gjambor, now you can hang a big picture or similar above the stove & the pipe won't interfere,NICE.

A pic of your stove with the coal glowing, that way you can see what it looks like even during the summer when the stove is cold.
