My wall termination (part number 1-10-08310) rusted out. I removed it, visited the dealer to order the part and was brought up-to-date on Harman and their coal stoves: 1) they no longer make the DVC500; 2) Harman sold the coal division in June; 3) getting parts for the DVC500 is not going to be easy. I'm sure you folks already knew all this but I have not been paying attention. Does anyone have one of these parts they're willing to sell or know where I might find one? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Vic

Do a Google under Harman 1-10-08310 and you'll find results. One of them was the kit for 350 smackers. Perhaps someone on the Board has one to offer you for less. Good Luck!

I've Googled that and a dozen other variations and the only part I can find is not made by Harman. It's likely the one you spotted since it was $349. I'm not concerned about price just want to make my stove whole again before Mother Nature starts her Winter thing again.

Your Journey has started,My Friend. Unless something shakes loose here, you may be forced into Aftermarket. Talk to that Vendor and learn all that you can about it matching OEM Specs.

Is this part only for the DVC coal...if it fit a Harman pellet stove it should be found easier???

I have no idea what you need, but it was rusted out, it was likely steel. Maybe bring what is left of your old one to a local welder?

I ordered one from Woodsman's Parts Plus, last year. It was $350. It is OEM.

I found their site earlier but didn't think they had OEM parts. Sounds great. How did the part fit and work out for you?

And there You Go ! Hopefully another Slam-Dunk for a Guy in Trouble on Der Coal Board! Thanx,Gang !....Oh,and while I'm thinking about it,when the new one comes in,after checking fitment, see if you can have one fabbed up in stainless using the new steel one as a Model. I know,it sounds like I'm trying to Personally Drive You To The Poor Farm, but what the Hell! Maybe a Vo-Ed School near you takes on Metalworking Projects if your not in a hurry. Take all measurements,a few Detail Pic's and then install your replacement in order to get up and running.......It might be worth it! :gee:

Is this a bad time to buy a DVC 500? I need that same part. I can weld but not looking for a full on project. My decision was between the DVC-500 and a Channing 3 with power vent. Comes to about the same price, But I still need that square part too....
