That's funny Neal, It looks a LOT like the one I have in my garage. Same doors, same Tri-Burner stoker (40K BTU instead of the 70K BTU though), same distrubution blower. Different hopper, different controls and the ash door is on the side.

Why live like the Flintstones, if you don't want to, year after year after year cause the powers just maybe might goes out or it maybe doesn't go out.?
There are multiple different ways to cope with this potential situation...

True Story. In fact my '94 Stoker II came with the optional 12volt tri-burner motor just for those in convenient moments.McGiever wrote:I ain't skerred no power going out!

My Caloric is just about ready for this winter. I had a flue adapter made by the Chimney Liner Depot guys and I had salvaged about 2 ton of chestnut coal from several basements in the area....not only can the power go out in my house..I can also cook!

so is it an ALASKA Stoker I ?
the grate looks very similar to my Old Mill. Old Jerry, formerly of Leisure Line once told me the Old Mill was used as sort of a prototype for the first Alaska stoves...except that alot of improvements were made to the feed assembly. It appears to be the same size as my Old Mill.
....and whatever happened to ALOT...I thought that was a word...How come it ain't?...spell check always wants it corrected... A LOT...dat der is dumb

Isnt all coal merely left over solar power? And burning it in a solar run device seems like a cruel trick on my ole buddy El Sol
