4000 improvements over IOS 7. Hand ups all those that should have learned never to be first in line for an ambitious new operating system. Windows 8 was no better. Iphone 3gs, IOS 6.1.2 suits me just fine as I watch the blood in the road. I am getting ready for Iphone 4 as I think IOS 7 is stable by now. You can find a good Iphone 4 in the dumpsters at the end of the road - not cool. I am waiting for that killer app over IOS 7 .... crickets....

Look on the bright side, it means next week you will qualify for an upgrade to Iphone 7 and IOS 9 for only $1200. You want to go back to IOS 7 - sorry we don't do that. You may have the coolest stove that you can lord over us so there has to be balance.

It stands for Inner Outer String. Now cocoa tins can be fixed with two strings to improve reception from the Freetown Corner store.

There are a few growing pains every year when the new iOS comes out. With the complexities of mobile operating systems reaching that of a desktop OS, a few glitches during a major upgrade are inevitible.

I'm sure we'll be seeing iOS 8.0.1 ready for download in short order.

Spoken like an Apple shareholder and the patch hastily reworked won't work right either, they never do but time is a great healer. Try again about Xmas IF your lucky, my bet is about one year. Meanwhile, I'm looking on ebay and in Applejack cereal packages for free iphone 4s. The good news is that the iphone 6 plus is so big you can use it to play wiffle ball. Of course, it's useless as a cell phone but who cares. AHAHAHAHAHAHA, I slay myself.

Wish I had some Apple stock before it split, but alas....

I have an iPhone 4 that I'd part with for cheap, it's got tons of coal pictures on the camera roll! :D

APPLE: "We are actively investigating these reports ... In the meantime we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update.”
Oh well, so much for that plan.... however 8.0.1.000.1 will be better and will be issued tonight. Time to listen to the old fart. All pot smoking in the developers rooms in Cupertino is banned until something, anything works.
Many users on Twitter said they lost cellular signal, data service and Touch ID capability after updating to iOS 8.0.1. However, those with the iPhone 5 said they had no issues, and both MacRumors and TechCrunch reported that only the 6 and 6 Plus have had update problems.
Accept it Jobs is dead and everything now is incremental c rap. Marketing will carry the day for a while and should be complemented.
