This has been posted previously. Haven't found it. Which breakers have "bagging stations" I'm thinking instead of building bins for my 18' trailer it would be as effective to load bags. Does anyone do this or does it tie up the breaker too long? Am I picturing this all wrong . Scott :)

None that I'm aware of, you could set up your own little bagging operation. But I guess that depends on the breaker. The one I used to get coal from would allow them to go right to stock piles and load 5 gallon buckets. You might want to consider that too, see if you can get hooked up with a construction company they usually have plenty.

Edit:just reread you post and see you mean filling bins on on your trailer, Hudson anthracite or any breaker that has hoppers will be able to do that.

You can use a 5 gal Bucket cut the bottom out Then get some feed bags or sand bags put the bucket in the bag and shovel the coal in has you pull the bucket up it will fill the bag when bag is full Tie it with wire or string 50 40lb bags will give you a ton or if you get bigger bags you can Put more in 80 to 100lbs but they get heavy after awhile with 2 guys with two buckets and two shovels you can do a ton in about 20 to 25 mins I know of one breaker that will have enough of room that you will not be in the way and will let you fill from the pile If You would Like PM me for info :)

The rules say that you are not allowed to advertise here but I can tell you the way I bag nut coal for my customers.
1-Get sand bags from a contracting supplier(Tie string allready attached to bag) $.30 per bag
2- Steal the kitchen trash can. The rectangle top kind.
3- Fill trash can to top,You get 50# +/- 1# every time on the scale
4- Put sand bag over top of trash pail and flip over WALAA!!! 50# in the bag!!!
Thats how we do it in northern nj
