Europe has some. Some of them show up on ebay.
Are you opposed to having a used one?
Are you interested in stove, forced air or boiler?

They're out there, but they're not shiny & new. A few guys even built their own.
There's a saying out there ... "Chrome don't getcha home" .... know what I mean? Just because it's old doesn't mean it won't keep ya warm.
Which Was/Is the Best Underfed Stoker?

I look on eBay but don't know what I'm looking for. Just a stove or a furnace is fine. Boiler is prolly above my head and budget

There's guys on this forum with TONS of experience in bituminous burning using a stoker - they'll chime in eventually.

Chrome has nothing to do with it. I've looked for months on classifieds craiglists ebay and can't find one. I asked about a new one so I could just buy one and have it instead of looking forever and no luck

Okay, so you would buy a used one.Jared43758 wrote:Chrome has nothing to do with it. I've looked for months on classifieds craiglists ebay and can't find one. I asked about a new one so I could just buy one and have it instead of looking forever and no luck
How far would you travel to get a used one?

This furnace/boiler is designed to burn crappy coal, the owner of the co. had a different name but I don't remember what he called it.
I'm thinking it's in the 6000- 7000 BTU range.
Their web site http://maertensmfg.com/ doesn't show any pics.

Are you looking to replace the hotblast?
Watch craigslist/local ads for stokermatic or combustioneer coal furnaces. I don't know about your area but used space heater coal furnaces like the one in this post Stoker Stoves for Burning Bit Coal? are quite common around here.
Coal furnaces designed to be connected to duct work like this http://www.peasefeedandcoal.com/Warrior-150-225.html are harder to find. It's been a couple years since I've seen this type of furnace for sale around here (Utah).
So I guess it depends on what you're looking for and how much time you are willing to spend looking for a good unit.
BTW, I don't know of anyone actively manufacturing coal stoker furnaces designed for soft coal in the US but you could call the one 'loschstoker' just posted in the previous thread and see what they say.

Where are you located?
A couple weeks ago there were two stokermatic heaters and 3 tons of coal for sale in Chillicothe Ohio for $1,000 dollars.
If you want a new bit stoker be prepared to pay out the nose. Will Burt in Orrville Ohio makes a conversion unit. Don't get in a hurry because one will come up sooner or later. Take a look here **Broken Link(s) Removed**
