I didn't realize there was a shortage, I just ordered from CSM in the spring as usual and it was delivered (price has definitely gone up since my order, they say 'the early chicken gets the fish in the barrel', or something like that)...Maybe I should post this in the Mass forum. I better get this gold inside before I find my supply mysteriously disappearing as the nights go by.. :shock:

Shhhh... don't tell anyone I have it... :P

Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood

Same here with the coal delivery delay. ordered my 5 ton of rice in May, I got it 3 weeks ago. My coal guy normaly uses Summer to get caut up from the Winter. He still hasn't caut up! And now there is all the fall orders coming in. I think a lot of people around here are converting to coal or just stocking up more than usual because of last Winter. My coal guy is the best out of anyone in the counties around here and for some reason he's the least expensive too.
