I have a bottom heat shield from a Resolute that I want to install on my Vigilant coal stove, which uses the same size. What I don't have is the "C" brackets that suspend the shield from the leg bolts. Does anyone have brackets to sell (4) or one to measure to provide the specs so that I can make them? Thanks in advance for considering my request.

The shield is held in place by four bolts which should be in place on the stove bottom. All you should need are four spacers.

The spacers are the "C" brackets. The brackets attach to the leg bolts and the heat shield attaches to the brackets.

Thank you Nortcan, but mine is quite different, and much simpler. It's just a single panel suspended from the leg bolts with "C" brackets. The attached document shows it well.

SD...that's what I was thinking if I could get the original dimensions from someone. I think they're just flat stock with two 90* bends to make the "c" shape. I think one end has a hole for the leg bolt and the other end has a stud (I could just use a bolt through a hole instead) that goes through the shield and a wing nut to hold it on. I can get under the stove to get the leg bolt distances, and overlay the bolt pattern of the shield to determine the other end's relationship to the leg bolts. Just thought it would be easier to copy an original if available.
Freddy...very kind offer! You might here from me after doing the above. THANK YOU!

Could the heat shield rest on tabs that are secured to the legs? You could drill and tap a small hole on each of the legs, (you pick the spot), or small hole and self tappers and secure small pieces of angle aluminum or steel and slide the shield between the legs. just my 2 cents...Mike.
