Just fired up my beautiful old Keystocker for the first time this year.
Doing great in all ways except the convection blowers are running constantly (a new problem
for me). It appears that the combustion motor goes on and off with the thermostat in the living room and is
keeping a constant temperature in the house - but the blowers never go off. My
troubleshooting instructions indicate that internal stove temperature might be too high
and I should set the heat sensor lower. I want to point out that the Taylor surface thermometer
on the stove pipe (approx. 10" above stove box) is reading a steady temperature - no rise in
temperature there. There is a grey metal box - says Intermatic on it - inside is a dial with
clips that, to me, looks very complicated (there are also a few extra clips in a small bag attached
to the door. I want you to know that I've cleaned the stove meticulously - tiny vacuum brushes carefully between blades of motors, clear vinyl hoses of different sizes to get under grate, oiled, etc. She's old but I'm proud of her - makes my workshop the finest place in the world. I could certainly use some help. Thanks!

For some reason, the blowers started working properly overnight.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and thank all of you for your
consideration.

I noticed you didn't get any replies to your thread. It may have been posted in the wrong section..

Thanks for telling me this. I have had such wonderful help from Nepa Crossroads that I was surprised no one responded. I just thought it was too complicated to go into heat sensor etc. etc. Could you tell me where I should have posted this. Thanks so much.

Yes, there is a thermal snap switch that cycles the fan according to a set temperature range.

It was reported to be working as expected at a later time.

Right MG it looks like it was posted for a few days before it fixed itself and I'm guessing nobody saw it that could help.

It should have been posted in the "Stoker boilers...." section.

Thanks to both Lighting and McGiever for their help. Blowers running well
and turning off when necessary. I hope blowers are over their "hic-cup" because that heat sensor does look mystifying.
Thanks again.
