OK Fred, Enough of this semicolon thing. Time to get your punctuation corrected. You'll be back home and up to your regular routine soon enough. I'll be following your progress. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Well here it is last day before surgery. Some exciting things to do today--8 AM-2 oz. of MOM--1 PM-1 gram of Erythromycin & Neomycin--same at 3 PM & 10 PM--8 oz's of water every hour--3-4 jugs of BOOST throughout the day--NOTHING after midnight--no water, no ice chips, NADA  I think my biggest reason for this topic is for any of you that are real iffy about getting that colonoscopy exam, you could have all this to look forward to---ALTHOUGH, I did have one a couple yrs. back & mine was a perforation problem which is just kinda weird--nothin's carved in stone, but a lil preventive don't hurt a soul in the long run. I probably won't post tomorrow AM cause we gotta leave for the hospital early. Surgery is at 9:30 AM I WILL post on the flip side when I get back home :) Thanx for all the prayers & support.

Fred,

As we all know you are a hand fired guy. Since plumbing and hydronics are not your cup of tea, here's a little advice from us hot water plumber guys that you may want to pass on to your doctor as he reconnects your pipes:

3 wraps of Teflon tape and don't forget to have him add the GRIPP pipe dope to all the connections.

We don't want him to have to repair any leaks. But he must use the good dope. The cheap chit won't cut it.

Good luck and will be thinking of you all damn day !!!!

Rick

After the last visit, they're probably going to Operate in a MASH tent out on the sidewalk. While he's still out cold, they'll slam a Sticky Tag on 'em with his Name & Address on it and have a UPS Truck Deliver him back to The Hill.....I'm Feeling Good About This...Go FFred...Go !

Fred,
You didn't tell 'em you were a 'former Marine', did you?
I think H Bob is on to something here, with the MASH crew. If Sir William's private nurse is with the MASH crew, go for the tent!
Good Luck and take care.
Cheers

Hell guys, I'll take it all. Rob, 3 to 7 days is what the Doc's talkin--ya know I'm gonna be pushin for the 3 :) Don't know but I'd rather a MASH unit then Cortland Hospital--critical care & intensive care are outstanding, but I think the general floors leave a lot to be desired. YES, the Doc scheduled a reservation for me in ICU--RESERVATION???? :wtf: :bang: I never heard of such a thing

Well you've got just under an hour Fred .... so why don't we make sure your innards are completely disinfected by doing shots of maple sugar, fresh from Vermont? :P :D toothy

Tastes just like maple sugar candy .... dipped in rubbing alcohol.
