I know what you mean about taking the chill out. I'm going to try to go at least the 15th of the month before starting up.
We'll see how that works out.
Once I start up it stays lit till the end of the season. I would hate it if I had to restart it. Thats just me though. :)

But I was also dying to try out the modification to my hopper (placed SS plate on mine, due to corrosion issues encountered several times) ..
My repair of the firebrick holders ...
And my new hole in my ceiling ...

That stainless should work well on the hopper :)

I couldn't take the cold dampness anymore. I lit her yesterday about 6 pm. I'm feeling much better now. :D

With all the rain and even some sleet the other day I lit it up yesterday as well! Wife seems quite happy this morning so it was probably the right thing to do!
