Pictures that may help. Also don't feel bad. Now that I have my house I wish I went into carpentry rather than mechanics. If your willing to learn anything is possible. Matt

WOW, three people attending, Hilti drills, only the best. I guess you are not a horse farmer. :D There looks to be a flexible steel pipe already. How are they going to key that in and what does that exhaust now or is that the old pipe to the fireplace below.

Yeah that's the steel liner they installed last week.

Not sure what it is, but they just went and brought it from my local stove store. "BYLERS" That must be what they're struggling with now. They seem to be getting it together, all five of them.

We need more pic's and while there at will the baseburner expert in the group please take a giant step forward ;)

A mpd can be installed in a piece of 6 inch pipe...2 holes drilled horizontally at it furthest point from each other.

Well when they went to my local stove store they said that they didn't have any MPD and they would have to order it.

Whether of not he can put it in he has the local thugs on the spot, MAKE them do it, no MPD no pay the bill. They are the experts after all. AHAHAHHAHAHAA, damn you know what I just broke again. That heat shield is great but how many inches to the mantlepiece, looks close to me. Now I am just a stupid horse farmer but you drill 6" hole and the pipe is from the top of the chimney how do you make the connection. I guess make a hole in the outside. It's a beautiful day and I am bored so I need photos of the other two and if any are standing around picking their noses you want a deduction.
