most of the other places I frequent have a off topic area, and it appears this is the closest thing we have here. yesterday I god word a dear friend of mine had passed away  I had known him for almost twenty years and he was one of those people that would do anything in his power to help you out. I have lost both of my parents, and been thru the same with my wife's parents but for some reason this time it is different. it may be the fact that he was 5 years younger than me :?: grave side services tomorrow don't know how I will handle it but one thing is for sure, I will be there :!:

Sorry for your loss. A close friend of mine lost her son a few hours after his birth. Her message to another young mother in the same situation was death sucks and its ok to say that. It's ok to feel bad. Death sucks and life goes on but take what time you need to deal with the loss. Time may not heal all pain but the pain will diminish in time. I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts as you move ahead. Lisa

Sorry for your loss T Bird, I had a neighbor just pass as well. Like K-9 said everyone grieves & for that matter goes out in their own way, my friend got cremated as well with his ashes going several different places, no viewing, service or anything just the way he wanted. Helped the ambulance service get him back into bed a few days back & he said it wouldn't be long & a day & a half later he was gone. All in all pretty much my same path, if you weren't there when I came into the world I don't want you there once I leave, lot easier all around IMO it's to each his own.

This Wasn't Supposed To Be Easy.....In A Way,Thank God It Was hard.....When You think of it,the older We get,and the more Good Folks We Lose, the harder it gets. In my world,it's supposed to be that way. I've lived long enough to really appreciate Kind,Warm People. Some days,we're surrounded by stiffs and snoots. Sounds like this Guy was one of The Genuine Winners.....You can't destroy a Soul....With that said, definitely have a chat with him,and don't sweat the ashes,as that's the remains of what let him down....Do Cherish and Carry the Good that he touched You with.....It'll be alright.....
