We had a little sleet this morning but no snow yet.

The stove is working well, keeping the house nice and warm...300° on the barrel 147° on the stack (by the magnetic thermometers).

I checked the temp difference between the magnetic thermometers with an infrared thermometer. The one on the barrel was 10° difference, the infrared said 310°. The one on the stack was 2° difference, the infrared said 145°.

Supposed to have 10-12 inches tomorrow  with 40mph gusts, should be fun.
House is nice and warm though :D can't wait for.the herald to show up, been trying to finish some outside projects so I can start work on a hearth worthy of such a beautiful stove

No snow in SE CT but a crazy windy day. Blew 35 to 40 off and on.

Sounds like it will be spitting a little here on the coast but mostly rain. I'm not ready for it yet. You guys up in The County can keep it all!

Yep. Yesterday evening. We had 'a chance of light snow showers' that turned into a bloomin' blizzard.

Once again we have managed to skate the cold and only get down to 35 degrees here. Colder to the left of us. Colder to the right of us. And colder to the south of us.

No, and I hope it doesn't. I hate snow. I hate winter.
