So many have already reported on their installs this summer that this getting pure routine. Anyway I would like to thank Dave (dlj) for his assistance this Sunday. A good confidence trickster invites a friend for coffee and then cons him into installing the stove - chit I am good. So photos offered with minimal comment.

The operation took a whole hour with bull chiting time thrown in. It's tough to get good help these days. He even demanded a coffee refill. I drew the line at offering a chocolate chip cookie - that would have been too much.

Note magazine on the right, yes it does fit. Charcoal fire test, OMG, attic fan, open all the windows, geez why do they paint them? OK thank God that is over. Ready for winter.

Thx Dave. Whatdodya mean your back hurts? I am not a nurse for Christs sake.

Very nice indeed !!! I'm glad to see it's getting back to doing what it was designed to do. Now, all it needs is a gas ring.

Aren't you glad I'm partial to Glenwoods ? :D

and the Pièce de Résistance, Sunny is making me a gas ring as these stoves were just copies of the G #6s.

Life is Good. BTW, Blue Ribbon stove polish for the barrel applied when it's warm not hot.

Upcoming, the Herald at the back of the house. Super efficient and the prettiest of the bunch.
I will only need that when the winter gets really bitchy so I have time but the chimney is ready to go. A 13x9" tile lined flu waits.

So I am left with only one spare stove and even that would not have been spare if the William offering had not come up. So the aura of a stove hoarder evaporates as many of you also have spare stoves in the garage or at Emories waiting for parts.

One spare stove, that is nothing what if one breaks. I feel naked, insecure! - I need more stoves. :D

Very nice indeed. You are going to have no problems with warmth this year. Give it about a week and the weather will cooperate. According to Weatherbell, the ocean temperatures, stratospheric conditions, etc. are all lining up for plenty of winter. Even if the forecast busts, still no problem the stoves and coal do not spoil with waiting.

Well , well, well. Truly an exciting moment. I bet I couldn't punch the smile off your face. Warm winters awaits us all. Surely you can't possibly need all those stoves. Do your part as a loyal member and sell me mighty max , the little wonder. Oh well. I'll keep trying. Stove looks fabulous. :)
