Yes sir, but on a smaller scale. I have a small single story ranch and my 34 yr old box stove, (I love saying that), eats 40 lbs of coal a day and the blower on the stove distributes the hot air though the return vents of my warm air oil furnace trunk in my house. If I need, the furnace blower will do it but the stove blower does it for me.
The reason this is beneficial is the air is preheated if my furnace ever came on therefore it would not run long. If the air went into my distribution trunk the oil furnace blower and the coal stove blower would clash because the hot air would be coming from different directions.
