**Broken Link(S) Removed**

Three night s ago I woke up in a muck sweat and realized I HAD to have it. The fourth and last member of the Taunton MA BH crowd I NEED it. Not the most ornate of the bunch but built like tanks. Brian complained he had to reinforce the floor. He just moved in to the house and the stove was used by the previous owner but is now disconnected. He was obviously surprised that I was going to burn coal in it. He just thought it would make a nice porch conversation piece. I'm saving it from being a plant pot.

More photos coming tonight and I got hold of Wilson and he is going to pick it up (15 minute drive) and give it the once over. It was tough to hear him as the G4 WIFI install in his new Mercedes is not to up to par. Photos of the restore coming and I hope that is minor. He lives 15 minutes from Freetown and he was born there. He wanted to know the guys last name as he wonders if he knows him. I would bet in 100+ years these stoves or people have never left the area. Interesting bunch.

I guess you beat me to the punch! Odd, I spoke with Brian today and he didn't mention there were others interested in the stove. In fact he said it is still available...although technically I guess it is! Good luck with it.

You are about three days too late but I could not finalize the deal unless Wilson would pick it up and restore it which yesterday he agreed to do. Wilson is a busy man and is not the fastest responder on the planet. Brian was only doing what I do when I sell on CL. There are a bunch of weirdos out there and I am sure a Nigerian or two has agreed to buy it too but money has changed hands (I think).

. There are never 468 people in FC, the census does not count cows. However cows are allowed to vote democratic as long as they have not been slaughtered more than three years ago. A bell around the neck qualifies as an ID and the voting machines will accept a hoof print. It's a strange word up there - I may have to move.

The only person I'm in contest with is myself. Strange thing is I usually lose. Lots of great choices out there and Stewart and Crawford are great stoves indeed.

Well, I hope you can get all of your "Family" into one group photo to post.

I wonder if there has ever been a time when all those mfg's of #6 type stoves were in the same room?

You may be the first.

Hmmm, how about a video comparing the features. All information abut the Taunton MA crowd in one place. Factory addresses, brochures, everything available in one place. That is what this board is about. A total information dump. Who is up first? Let's start a thread.

Who is up first? Clearly that would be you! Who else has the stoves? So, start getting the documentation. Photos with measurements are good to start posting. Then you can swap stoves and even get relative performance comparisons. As the documentation becomes available, add it in also..... 8-)

and so Pandoras box opens. Let me get the Quaker, then I know a local expert, an expert in the field and is local AND who is even a metallurgist to boot. I need to get in more coffee and chocolate chip cookies and then we start. Are you sure you are not running away from teenage daughters?

Let's forget the whole thing. I just received this mail from the seller.
......I don't know how he knows I spoke with you but I feel something is going on. I know what is going on and don't appreciate trying to be had. So the deal is off, I wouldn't sell the stove to either one of you for double. Good luck and Goodbye !!!!!! Brian
Well done tcalo, I guess you called him a liar or me a liar or both - who cares. Wilson will not be paying for the stove today I guess, I'll call him. Plenty of fish in the sea. You probably saved me from myself, I can be impulsive - thank you. Do you know my shrink? :)

So, just have Wilson buy it like he is a completely different buyer. He does not know Wilson...don't let something like this stop you if you really want the stove.
