As a new kid on the block. I thought I was something building my own wood boiler. It saved me a pile last winter but man I went through 20 cords of wood. I posted all of this data on my web page. People contact me all over the US. As a HVAC business owner I must tell them I have found a better way to heat than wood. It blows their mind. People think that heating with coal is some new thing. Actually if you turn on a light switch. Somewhere down the line you are contributing to a coal fired electric plant. I come home every day and the sweet sound of silence is evident as I walk pass my three outdoor condensing units that are not running. This month’s electric bill was only $219. That’s for heating a 4500 sq ft home and electric for lights and everything else for five people. I guess $90 bucks for coal pellets should be added. So that’s $319 for the month of Feb. A buddy of mine with a home half the size had a bill of $700 this month. I think he will be buying a stove. Thanks for all the folks on the coal forum. You all helped me make the decision to get a stove and save thousands with little labor. So convinced I spent 10K and I am the only dealer in MD. Showing others the way and making a few bucks as I go.

You should contact the forum owner and get set up in the manufacturers corner as an Alaska Rep here in the forum .

Anyone is welcome but that requires approval directly from Alaska. I've sent a few emails to many different companies but they all fail to respond, their loss not mine. My guess is they don't want to be on the chopping block, its easy to give someone a line of bull when you're talking face to face but not so easy when the whole world can read it. ;)
