We have a Van Wert Anthratherm VA1500, in Tuscarora. Is there anyone in Schuylkil County that still repairs/services - works on them. The feed pipe going into the boiler has deteriorated and needs to be repaired or replaced, would also like to have it gone over.

Are you referring to the one that goes from the right angle to the bin? I believe that pipe is common stock you can pick it up anywhere that carries pipe and it won't require any special skill to remove and replace it. Are you in an emergency situation or can it wait until spring?

No, I am refering to the right angle coupling itself. The side that goes into the boiler.
Not an emergency situation. I J-B welded the crack to stop the coal /silt from coming out, it can be repaired in the spring.

A piece of stove pipe and hose clamps works for a temporary patch job.
