Fred, the thing is that we were told the Warming Planet was going destroy us all 5 yrs ago. More rational people were saying that we were more likely to be headed towards a another mini-ice age circa 1970's . Guess, what. They were Right and the models show a 30 yr cycle.

Hrmm, 1979 to late 2000's.....those old school guys seem to be right on schedule!

BTW, Warming kills much less than Ice Ages. Just a note to the Liberals.

I tend to think that climate change should have been the name to begin with since it would cover either warming or cooling. I do know from experience that sticking my head out the door & feeling either the cold or the heat doesn't mean that the world is changing, just my little part of it. Now we are having record cold for this time of year, this summer some areas had record heat & very little rain so thusly I don't think a winter or two of very cold makes for the coming of an ice age or the opposite with warming so you kind of have to look further than past our little corners & it's going to take time. 8-)

Actually, this is no laughing matter. That place is a "disaster"! We must have some members out that way. If so, they probably don't have any electricity to view their computers. Wait a minute, most people, ('cept me), have these phones with computers on them, so someone might be able to up-date.
