     the first guy was just too high and never even saw it coming, the second was even sadder thinking he was going to get further than the first, the third was so dumb he wouldn't shut up.

the first guy was still totally out as the clip ends.

i say good for the boxer, those kinds of guys need good reasons to rethink their place in life.

Impressive that he drops the first guy with a left and the second guy with a right....

Also that he does it in 2 seconds flat.

The second guy does get up but you can see him staggering in the background and looks like he was on his way down again....

Not hard to knock out drunks...they're 1/2 out to start with. Still, you can kill with just a punch; professional boxers who do can get into deep doo doo.

I sure am glad he didn't have to take his coat off, the whole crowd would have been looking at the sky. Mike

yeah, ya really need to be paying attention from the begining of the clip.

the club door man is out back talking the boxer down from an incident inside. there are just a few guys out there, some who were probably just out there smoking and loafing around and some that came out to see if anything more was going to go down.

then, there's some attention drawing sound from out front and around the corner comes subject #1 in a ball of retaliation over what ever had happened inside. note the boxer closes the gap between himself and the looky lou's and is right there as the guy comes thru.

#1 goes down, probably for the second time and doesn't get back up. #2 thinks he's some MMA champ and throws an off balance kick that the boxer never even tries to avoid. bing, your down.

now, the boxer goes straight into the middle of the crowd and shuts up the one guy still encouraging sustained conflict.

from my perspective this is all very classic. the boxer was very likely the original victim of some shmoe that recognized him and started talking smack about how he could take him. that lasted about as long in there as it did out side and the rest is history.

this boxer is a smart cookie and understands not just the sport but also how to end the aggression and put a lid on the crowd around him as fast as possible.

Pieces of the story I skimmed yesterday morning about the video had the boxer and his wife inside the place minding their own business and the group of guys started harassing them, her especially.

They wouldn't stop and it was taken outside to 'settle'. Don't know how accurate the story is about inside the place, but the action outside was a unanimous decision! :)

We were at a club in Lyndonville, Vermont one night a few years back when a local biker gang was there. They were not looking for trouble per se, but at the time Katie and I were not married, and there you have to leave a credit card at the bar to run a tab. We had got about halfway back to her home in NH when we realized we left her credit card behind. So we head back, and with the credit card in her name only, she had to sign the receipt.

Well you guys have seen Katie, and going to a club is not much different then modeling a WC-90 New Yorker Boiler and the two big biker dudes were standing by the front door smoking. It is now 2 AM, she is balancing in ridiculously high heels in an even more ridiculously short miniskirt to go back inside when these two guys look at her and say, "I love this place; the women here are so "blanking" hot".

Now you guys have seen me, and I am looking at these big biker dudes and then look at Katie and thinking, 'Hon, this might not bode well for you'. There was no way I was going to stop them, I've never been in a fight in my life. I envy the guy for being able to stick up for his wife.
