Down again :( but spoke on phone with Flyer5 and getting closer to resolving ALL problems. damper problems will be fixed Monday and still looking for diagram or photo of gaskets on feed unit. I would like to see a list of gasket sizes & flat/round for the maybe a manual of how to install. The only one I missed was under/around the cast iron grating. The "back woods of Maine" are not loaded with coal stove dealers. We have enjoyed coal heat and this year purchased a second Pocono just for back-up parts and this one also had issues with gaskets after years of usage. Anyone has a picture please share. I am amazed at how fast answers come on this website from people and thank you all for helping me out.

Train the wife!!???? She has you trained very well being as you think you are in charge and can do the training instead of being trained. 42 years married and I know my place.

And I like it!!!

Looks good. If I may suggest something for the health of your barometer...consider rotating your open damper hole closer to the stove front. Reason why is that if you are in a hurry , you may pull the coal bin top off real quick and then smash into the baro edge. At least that is what wood happen to me.

At the next tag sale buy that roll of high temp tape and use it next season.

Do you have a way to measure draft ?

Great news birtj and the burns looks real good just in time for some cold air coming, I here we're expecting below zero this week end. The colder it gets outside the warmer it feels inside.
