A while back someone asked for pictures of stoves in there original envionment. The original question was about floor protection. This is a little off from that, but I think it's worth sharing. My first entry. Will post additional stoves/houses as I find them. Matt

Other than Pierres Sunnyside the first complete Baltimore heater I have seen. OMG I want it ..... Where did they all go. I bet they are Bailey and Tuttle vents and the whole thing was perfectly balanced before they ruined it.

What I find frightening is the average person, even those who are familiar with antiquities, architecture, etc; has an almost total ignorance when it comes to something precious like an intact Baltimore Heater. "That there is a fancy wood stove insert."
This one is a Fuller & Warren make and a very large one at that. Who knows what happened to it.

4 feet away and lots of clothes and yet the bottom draft is fully open ....... I call fake. That is why coal burners demand pics. Here is one in use.

I don't think there was a fire in it, but it does show the original installation...which is what the OP originally asked for.coalnewbie wrote:4 feet away and lots of clothes and yet the bottom draft is fully open ....... I call fake. That is why coal burners demand pics. Here is one in use.
