Dougie, please remember you don't have to buy the cow if you are getting the milk. Stay single, buy a Ferrari and laugh at your coal buddies.

It does get better...
Best advise I got was to take a year off...
Figure out who you are and what you really want...
Let it be all about you and get your head on straight...
Then move forward...
Ended up marrying a girl next door who was only 2 when we first met...
They were just visiting, hanging with the grand-'rents for a bit...
Then again when she was 17...
Her Mom bought the house across the street as a vacation home...
Then yet again when she was 29...
Came down to care for her grandmother who's health was failing...
I got divorced a few years later...
Finally went out on a date 18 months after that... :D
Took another 3 years to get married...
Now 5 years later we have 3 kids that are essentially triplets...
And under 4... ;)
Much better the second time around...

Yes, it sure can be !

But, I'm slower than CC, I took two years off as a result of being married to a women's lib type for 25 years - needs a longer recovery time !!!! :D

Then met a gal who's family I'd known through the car club for many years. Never thought there could be a gal in this world who enjoys so much of the same things as I do, but she does. 15 years now and it's still fantastic !!!!

Hang in there Doug. Your happiness is out there waiting for ya! ;)
