Awesome! Thank you..
I also read that the psc motors do better with speed controllers than standard motors.
I have a controller on my original, and it works like crap..

Dan...not sure what peoples actual experience is with this fan & controllers, but this note is on the spec sheet:

NOTE:
Not suitable for use with speed-controllable device

I have great success w/ speed control on both shaded pole and PSC motors, just don't use a light dimmer.
KB Electronics makes some...can seach here for more info.

Titleist.... Supposedly, the PSC motors are more apt to run ok, or at least better
with a speed control... I think the disclaimer is used on all of their blowers
to cover the bases..

My particular speed control, makes the blower act as they describe..
It slows, then speeds, and at some settings whines..
It does slow the motor down, which makes it quieter, but it's not like you would want
it to be. I'd almost try the motor McGiever suggested just for that reason..
I have two different ones. both react the same..
One is the one I saw here a couple of years ago. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Plug-In-Fan-Speed-Con ... 3f1a168e82

McGiever.... any idea which motor/blower is the psc/ball bearing equivalent
to the Mark II? I'd keep both numbers for future reference... thanks.

Dan
