Hi All,

I'm looking to get a Glenwood #6 to replace a wood stove in the finished portion of my basement. The wood stove is partly tucked into a fireplace. The Glenwood would sit on an a hearth pad in front of the fireplace. The headroom is 7 feet to a drop ceiling. I searched the forum, but I didn't find any advice on heat shields for the ceiling. Do I need one?

Bruno
