This stove never had fire brick, fire pot is only 9"dia x5" deep it had a second ring inside stove to keep coals off of stove body , I cut some dimpled stainless sheet into 5"x32" long strips and put them thru a slip roll giving me 2 - 9" dia rings I slipped them in fire box essentially triple ing the gauge of how it was manufactured! More pics to follow as I progress I've calculated this stove to 16000 btu, Shawn

Got started on the exterior heat shield , this material looks really nice it's about 18ga , cut and rolled it with help from my 11 yr old daughter tonight , have to reshape some more, prob can mount it tomorrow , enjoy the pics
