You just have to admit that Freetown is a fashion trend setter if there ever was one. Chilly with an all day rain here but I finally fired up Dec. 1st so all is well. I'm even getting down to no more drops in one eye & only two a day in the other but it sure feels weird not wearing glasses.
Sorry to hear about your wife's job but something will come up & hopefully even better.

Well FF may be a good looking lad but it's the car that has my interest. I see the steering wheel is on the correct side and I am trying to place the vehicle.

My Austin 10 has the same problem. Somebody put the steering wheel on the wrong side, . . . of the Atlantic Ocean.

Late morning for me. Dealing with the start of a head/chest cold is no fun.
Got to the shop to get started but then remembered I need to add some outdoor lighting around the shop at home. Neighbors house was burglarized so we want to add some lighting. Started off with replacing the pole light with the new led style. Impressive light but it is more concentrated than the old sodium. So off to order another flood type to cover the other side. This too will be led.
So now back at work. Time to get moving.
Glad to hear the old farmer is finally back on the mend.
Lisa, my grandmother had one of those trees as well. Thanks for the memories.
Take care all.

Good evening people, Freddy I wish I was in for breakfast It sounds good but I had to work ( I think If you work Monday though Friday working Saturday's and Sunday's should be illegal)but I thinks It's only for the next two weeks and then a nice plant shutdown until January 5th .

Now, about the tv....65" Samsung LED. Holy smokes, this thing makes it seem like life-size people are running across the living room. Works great with an antenna, even has its own channel guide.
The pictures on the new TV's are awsome I just got a 55" Samsung 4K for the family room and I can tell you the pictures are getting better then my eye's can see thats for sure and thats just the upscaling and not a real 2160P picture.
NoSmoke, you should be a proud Man for having such a beautiful family I only have one and couldn't imagine having three more .
I wish it would stop raining already I can't stand the wet weather I'd rather have snow plus with snow I don't have to give the dog a bath every night before she comes in the house.
Take care everyone and have a good weekend. Keepaeyeonit .

Success!
It is not very often I cobble something together at the last minute out of junk wood and have it work, but in a few minutes time I rigged up a wooden seat that screwed onto a plastic sled so we could drag the baby around in it instead of lugging her in a back pack.
I'll be darned if we did not find a tree too with a good Christmas Tree shape to it. The only issue we had was the baby...she cried every time we stopped! She just LOVES to be outside.

Late posting, coffe is always good in Am, especially at 420Am, getting ready to head out in woods for another chane at deer. Well it was raining lightly as I went out. and still raining lightly when I came back in at 900Am. Did I get anything...yep sure did. Got wet, dampness started soaking thru 4 layers of clothes. I was gonna sit, but decided against it because rain, would have soaked quicker thru upper legs while sitting, so stood, and took longer just hitting shoulder area and arms cradling rifle.decided to call it quits before I got all the way thru and made me colder than all heck.Nothing moving, not even the squirrels. Next saturday is last chance for this season, at 3PM after I get out of work. 2hours to fill 2 tags.

That Pierce Arrow Touring car is as far as is known, the only right-hand drive 1925 Series 80 car.. Pierce Arrow started making left hand drive cars in 1919.
This 4passenger Touring car was made in the factory in Buffalo for export to Australia. It returned to the USA in the late '60's..
It was last owned by a friend of mine in the SanFrancisco bay area. He died in 2010, his cars were slowly sold. This one was sold to a dealer located in NYC, very close to LaGuardia airport.
The dealer tried to double his money on the car, I know what he paid for it, because I was the under-bidder on the car in the estate auction of the cars.
After the NYC dealer couldn't sell it after 3+ years of slowly reducing the asking price, I threw them a low-ball offer that was just below their buying price. A few days later I get a call, and they bumped the price to what they paid and had in the car. I decided to buy it.
it is an interesting car, and a bit odd to drive from the right. It's in very good mechanical shape, and not too bad cosmetically. And Fred actually fits in the back seat !

Well, he has to slouch a bit, but there is plenty of leg and knee room for Fred.
He does look a bit like a big jackknife folding and unfolding when he gets in and out of the back seat !!
I wonder how much snow and ice he got 'up on the hill' ?

Yep, Fred fits just fine & my chauffer was top notch, I think he even enjoyed our hilly lil valley. I was happily surprised at how the Pierce handled all the bizzare road conditions:)Got about 10 inches & serious still comin down!!!!!!!!!!

Fred,
It's a NY built car,. . . from back in the days when twisty wash-board roads like some in our CNY valleys would have been the really good roads.
And many people think SUV's are a recent invention.
