It appears to me that it is just a "U" shape with the inlet and outlet bent at a 90 degree angle so they can protrude the furnace at the side instead of the front or back.coaledsweat wrote:Maybe the inlet and outlet are down low and then it snakes up over the firebox?

A U? There is no coil? Starting to make even less sense now.
Just looked at the manual, it doesn't even show a coil, tube or anything one would expect for DHW.

No no... Not a coil per say.. Its just a simple "U" shaped structure, like mine, the difference being it bends so the outlets can come out the side, instead of the back of the furnace.coaledsweat wrote:A U? There is no coil? Starting to make even less sense now.

Just wonder if there are any other Keystoker A150 furnace owners out there who had the optional oil gun and hot water coil factory installed? If so would love to hear/see how they did your coil. Is my furnace a fluke or do they do them all that way?

The DHW coil is an after market addition so its likely you wouldn't see mention of it in the manual.. Some stoves and furnaces come with the prefabbed holes for an after market coil installation, some don't. Appliances that don't have the holes in place have to be hole-sawed thru the air jacket and firebox wall, an unnerving task since you can't move the holes once they are cut.coaledsweat wrote:Just looked at the manual, it doesn't even show a coil, tube or anything one would expect for DHW.
