I told the salesman our 12 year old Duet gave out and he said “12 years, you did good.” I guess I’ll start saving now for the next one.

Duets are made in either Mexico or Germany. My Mexican Duet lasted three days. I called Sears and made them take it back and refund my money. That's when my research led me to used Miele brand washers. The Germans build appliances to last.
