How big a place you trying to heat? 80 lbs. a day might be doing good.
Providing good info goes a long ways towards getting good responses.

It's a 2 storie 2900 square foot newer house. I think my major issue is I still am having trouble figuring the controls out. I have the idle set at 8 and the tsta Set at 40. Now the upstairs thermostat of the stove is set at 68 but the actual temp hasn't dropped under 70. Sorry with all the questions guys but this forum has been the best source of info for me.

Since you have both burners running and the temperature is still relatively warm try turning your idle rate down to two.

I run my 140 with both burners for most of the season heating heating approx 4000 sf.

When the weather is in the 30s and 40s my idle is just a hair above the lowest setting ( No numbers on mine) and my thermostat control setting is just short of half way thru its range.

When the outside temperature gets in the teens and 20s I set my idle up to about a third of its range.

It sounds like your idle is set a little too high and that will overide your upstairs thermostat.

First of all ...... Don't apologize for asking questions. No one here was born with all of the answers and as you have found out we are all here to try to help.

Very few if any homes or installations are identical so the more pictures and layout information you can supply us with can help solve your problems.

You seem to be on your way to figuring out your stove,
Patience is always a virtue in a learning curve, such as you are going through.

My question is your distribution fan cycling on / off in your idle position// mine does once in a while but not often.

I only use 1 of my stokers, on a regular basis.

If your talking about the fan that blows around the fire box and up into my ducts I'm not positive but I think it stays on all the time. It has a reostat that I have set to less than a third of max speed. Do you have the digital thermostat box?

Duct work. I plan on redoing this in the summer and putting it into my hot side with a cold air return

Does anyone see anything that looks wrong and something that I can do to make it better. Other than the duct work

YES !!!!!!!!!!

It looks like you have your manometer connected AFTER the baro. THE MANOMETER MUST BE BEFORE THE BARO !!

If so, I would place a "T" in the vertical portion of the pipe AFTER the mano connection and place the baro in the new "T".
Place a cap over where the baro is currently connected to allow an easy way to clean out your pipe.

And is your flue pipe running horizontal behind the stove ???? If so, again you could place a "T" where you currently have the elbow turning the pipe toward the wall. In fact, you could actually put the baro in this new "T" section. Then you could snake a vacuum hose through the baro to clean out that horizontal run of pipe as it becomes clogged with flyash.

How does it work circulating the warm air through the house ????

Thanks for the info Rick. It's working ok. It's about a degree or two colder upstairs. But I had the same issue with my regular furnace. I still got some figuring out to do with it that's for sure
