DePipo79, Thanks for sharing that,we watched the entire video, nice to see that even in today's politically incorrect world there are still those who celebrate HIS birth, which is the reason for the season after all . Thanks again.

I didn't need to watch much of that one to see it missed the real reason for the season= CHRISTmas.

I'll be at work the next two nights, but thinking of the wife wearing one of these outfits will make me feel better. Not for little eyes.
Merry Christmas.
Matt
Thanks Windy. Wife and I like Thomas Kinkade. If I ever build my new/old house we'll be going through alot of his pictures for design ideas. Don't recall a Second Empire by him yet. I could be wrong. Have alot of irons in the fire right now.
Merry Christmas.

I don't know why the image won't come up, but; the link still works just click on it.
This is a very rare treat indeed. Presented here is an 1897 recording of what is now known as Jingle Bells. In 1897 recording just beginning to be introduced to the Public in a commercial form. Edison failed to see his invention as a form of home intertainment. His hated rival Alexander G. Bell did realize and he snatched on the idea to make machines and records for sale to the Public.
Few records from this era have survived for us to hear. They were made of an aluminum soap compound which was very fragile and over time warped, cracked or became covered with mold and unplayable.
Here is one that has survived not only playable but with most of it's original sound characteristics in place. Come with your Victorian ancestors and have a song.
The record is also played on original equipment available at the time. Again an extremely rare treat to step back more than a 100 years to the Gay '90's one of my favorite decades.
