AA on Ebay... does this look like a good unit?

AA on Ebay... does this look like a good unit?

PostBy: pret On: Fri Feb 22, 2008 3:35 pm

I have made purchases on ebay since I was in college about 15 years ago... love it, but the world is changing as everyone knows. I am about to build a house in about a month, have an AHS 130 built and ready for delivery waiting for me (held by a $790 down payment) BUT saw an AA 130 on ebay - '87 model, but not sure if it looks good enough for the investment. I don't have the skills for fabrication, etc. and Greg and others do, but the unit is only 41 miles from me. I could make this purchase and potentially save some money - but I'm not looking for another project. The link for the boiler is:

What are your thoughts?

Hi pret, if it is only 41 miles away, I'd go look at it, open the doors, ratchet the ashdrawer back and forth, run the motors.. you could to that tomorrow, a full day before the auction closes.
