My sweetheart works in a mine
I drive her straight with my lines
On the bumper I sit
And tobacco I spit
All over my sweethearts behind.

Happy New Year from Old #9 Lansford, PA Jack

Do a search. Half a dozen guys got together and "reclaimed " an old mine. Spent a long time and a lot of hours, all volunteer, to get it back into working order. They run a tour there during the other season. The one not burning coal. Jack's one of those men. Ask him about it nicely and maybe he will tell us something about it. Sounds to me like a destination for a GATHERING of the "Coal Burners Association". :D

That's pretty cool. I searched it and found the website. Looks like a great time! I'm going to be starting a job in Hershey soon, maybe I can head over there sometime while I'm out that way. Lord knows I'm going to be looking for things to do after work...
