Lightning and hotblast1357...why do you have the Redi - Chek base and remote units next to each other? Kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it? Or am I missing something?

For picture purposes it shows both temps, and when tending I hang up it up there, I also take it with me when tending the baseburner in the garage.

Oh, I keep it up in the living room when I'm home. When I'm not home, it sits like how it is in the picture so my remote IP camera can see it and I can look at my furnace temps and draft gauge while I'm at work with my smart phone.. :lol:
