No cheerleaders, no team band, no little fight song after a touch down.No this isn't college, this is the pros. Just smash mouth, in your face football. The boys from Pittsburgh look to add another bird to the endangered species list. Here we go STEELERS, here we go.

Steelers need to overcome the temporary loss of Bell....if they cannot run, they'll have big problems. My guess: less than 125 yrds rushing and big ben gets sacked 6 times and a loss for the steelers.
Baltimore is not a team of bums that got lucky....

I'm leaning toward a Ravens win this week due to the lack of Bell. Ravens by 12 .... if the steelers win and bell gets back, then the can make it to the big show IMO

30-17 (loss by 13) .. Big Ben , 5 sacks

I was pretty close !

How did I know? 'cause I played Big Ben for my fantasy football team -- I know him & the team well...

Hats off to the Ravens. They proved that Pittsburgh's D is getting old and tired. Hope they can get to Brady and that quick release. :)

Plumb, the Steelers did have cheerleaders for home games & only one or possibly 2 seasons, a friend of mine was one while she was in Pitt in fact they could have all been Pitt's squad that's when they played at Pitt's stadium up on cardiac hill. Heck I really didn't think they would get this far, they had to bring two back from retirement & they helped teach. The problem with being good for so long is you don't get good draft picks & who ever does decide isn't as good as the old guys they had. I think they will have more bad seasons ahead than good unless they get about a dozen good walk on's & a bunch of veterans won't be back.

Well "samhill" who would have known that your know it all capacity flowed over into sports. If you have been paying any attention though they have been trying to replace some of the older players with newer ones using some of their top draft picks. Last two years were Linebackers, the three years before that was offensive linemen to protect the QB. All in good time. :)
