Went to 'The Stove Shoppe' in Windham this morning, and purchased the Ecofan Airmax(175cfm). The way the wind is blowing here today, if we lose electric, now I have a fan. Thank you, Merc300d, for reminding me that they was close.
Cheers
I ordered one from Woodsman Parts yesterday, let us know how it works.

Randy,
I ran it for 1/2 hr. and put it back in the box, as the Chubby has a blower. This is for power failure use. It will be a big help when electric is out. We were out 2 days at Thanksgiving, and no blower was very noticible, and it really wasn't that cold.
We wanted to get the 'nickel' plated blade, but they only had 'black' in stock. I was planning to order from Woodman's, but adding the shipping, and the waiting if they were out of stock, well I bought a black one.
By the way, how much for the shipping, and did they have them in stock? It cost me $178 for the 812 Airmax. I noticed on Woodman's web page, you can get replacement motors for $14.95. Looks real easy to change, and made in Canada. Better than Ch_ _ _.(not Chile!!)
Cheers

I am going to stop in there tomorrow and look at this, ( Woodman's Forge is pretty close to me) I have been using my gas furnace blower mostly to circulate. Its more than I need but its getting to be 90 in the living room with the stove all but shut down.. I would like a no power option ..

Thanks for the update. I ordered the nickel one because I figured that would be one they would keep in stock. The webpage did not say whether it was in stock or not, I may call them tomorrow and see the status because I really don't care what color it is. I would take what ever they have in stock. Mine is for the cook stove out in the garage and hoping it is enough so I don't have to run the ceiling fan all the time. Oh, the cost with shipping for the 812 Airmax was $164.79. The last thing I ordered from them was Hearthstone furnace cement and it took almost 3 weeks to get it. They probably had to get it from Hearthstone. Hope it does not take that long for this order.
