My one venture to the promised land was for 5.3 tons of pea from Jeddo #8 in Hazelton. Outstanding product I thought. It was several years ago however.

My father in law and I came across 3 ton of pea last summer and split it, best stuff we've ever burned! I wish I could find more of it!

The one thing I noticed in the load I got was that it was totally free of fines. Getting it straight from the breaker probably had something to do with that. The stuff was real good. If my truck wasn't so old, DOTed intrastate and has no fuel stickers I wouldn't worry. Not sure what is required and don't need any grief. Otherwise I would make the run every year.

I think they have several locations, the one I was at was just north of Hazelton. The guy that owns Jeddo is pretty funny. When I told him I was coming down, he said he would have the Hazelton High School Marching Band there for me.
