First and foremost - Thanks for sharing all of the info I needed to succesfully switch to burning rocks instead of wood ! Other than a few failed attempts at shaking the grates (jammed and dumped the whole flaming mess into the ashpan!) and singed eyebrows that may eventually grow back I think I may be getting the hang of it ! :o

My GF bought me a Harman Magnafire Elite Insert for my 57th Birthday in May and so far it's the gift that keeps on giving ! I have been burning 4-5 cords of wood every winter for the last 6 years and she figured I deserved a break from wood-mongering ( bless her heart ).

Somehow I found this website before I even installed the Rockburner and thank all of you guys for sharing your vast knowledge on everything I will probably ever need to know about COAL !

We live about halfway between Baltimore and DC and I had 3 tons of bagged nut delivered by Elligson (thanx again) in Sept. I'm already through 1-1/4 tons and am getting a little nervous about running out. We travel to Montage Mtn. near Scranton to ski at least twice/month and would like to pick up a half ton of bagged nut on each trip. Is there somewhere close to I-81 in that area that you guys could suggest ? We usually travel on Saturdays though so I'm not sure I could go -or need to go- directly to the breaker. Thanx again for sharing your knowledge-I'll NEVER burn anything but Anthracite again !!

AGEL and Susquehanna have bagged coal. They are both in the Wilkes Barre/ Scranton area.
