Hi all,
Well, after the troublesome gas boiler was remedied (which it still has a POS low water cut off that just wants to cut off all the time despite their being plenty of water in the boiler)....of which I wanted to install last.....installed on a new pad and some new steam pipe that was finally up and running.......The AA is back in action. Everything is great with the AA. The Ventis 316L chimney is awesome and it drafts great. Both boilers utilize separate venting. The gas boiler is direct vented, and the coal boiler has it's own chimney.
I've been injured as of late, and I've had lots of friends help me finish the project. I thought it was never going to be done, but thanks to them all is well with the 260. The last project will be a permanent bin made of block and brick, and insulating the main steam piping and also the return piping. My friends want to build the bin too . I told them no, but they aren't hearing it lol. Simply awesome folks, I can't thank them enough.
I'll get some pictures when I can.
