Does this stove have a return flue (back pipe) or is it a straight oak stove?

Wilson,

You know that without pix on here, .... that stove doesn't exist. :D

I, for one, would love to see some pix of an all original 116.

Wilson,
Thanks for posting the pictures.

So it does have the back pipe,..... and with the cast cap, not a straight "up and out" one. That's going to be a real plus for whoever gets that stove.

I see it has the original Glenwood shaker handle too. Is that rod next to the shaker handle a fire poker ?

Those coal grates look like they've hardly had any use. With them in such good condition, are you going to have recasts made from them ? Some of the other 116 owners on here may be interested in a spare set ???

I suppose we need to keep this thread going and I must be careful to stay on course.

So let me review, an intact and VG stove that the master vouches for. I don't have to run all over the country looking at incomplete junk. Top draw manufacturer, Back pipe stoves are within spitting distance efficiency wise from full base heaters. Lots of heat assured for little money. I know Wilson will look it over and has told me that the stove breach will be be attached or a new pipe fitted. I have new paint finish ideas so nickelling is not a worry. YEP, you got it, I bought the damned thing. You guys are asleep.

OK, so a little advice on sandblasting and finishing the barrel would be appreciated. That looks like an unusual finish.

It's going to be a gift to Winslow riding. Hippotherapy for disavantaged kids, every now and then I like to give back.
