It doesn't matter what the repair is, it is insane to have to do that for engine work. Who in their right mind would tuck an engine under the cowl making it impossible to repair anything on it without drastic measures ?? Oh that's right, some dumb ass engineer who doesn't know anything about building repairability into their vehicle designs. I see it every friggin' day. Did you ever watch those shows on TV like "How It's Made?" A lot of the vehicles now a days are built in separate modules that they install into the vehicle as it is being made. Looks great on paper for assembly, but creates nightmares for repairers everywhere.
