I recently came by 10 sections of SS stove pipe. I need to buy two 90 degree elbows to make a usable chimney system.

Problem is - I have no idea who the manufacture is. And who sells additional pieces.

If you can identify please advise.

Regards: john

It does not appear to be Selkirk Metalbestos.

Thanks franco b: I agree, It may help to know the inside Dia. will fit a standard 6 inch black stove pipe.

This one has me stumped. I'm hoping one of the large box stores sells this brand ... but who knows?

John,

It appears to be "B" vent. Are you positive its stainless and not galvanized? Either way Im betting "B" vent fittings will fit up just fine. Take a joint with you to an hvac supply place and let em' try it for ya. If its what I think then you want to ask for 6" "B" vent stuff.

If the inside is stainless and the outside black, and its not insulated, my guess would be duravent double wall. Menards carries it, plus its for sale online. If its not insulated it wouldnt work real good for a chimney, unless this is part of your summer kitchen plan, then it may be ok.

I did attach regular pipe to mine, crimped end to crimped end on one end (I think), then used one of those pieces that wrap around 2 pipe ends on the other end. Its hard for me to see as its inside of another piece going thru my wall.

I may be completely wrong on brand, but thats my guess as its available locally and looks similar.

Yes I'm sure the inside is a Stainless Steel. It is a simple connection. The crimpt end slide inside the Female end and the outside (black) slip over the outside where it is held together by sheat metal screws. Very simple design.

The inside (female) is a perfect fit for a single wall black crimpt end stove pipe. I will check out if I can fit a B vent 6 inch elbow.

I live in the Iowa boondocks -- a long way from any DIY big box stores.

Thanks warminmn: I will check out John Menards place. see if his will mate up.

Thanks: john

Thanks Waldo:

The "B" vent elbows I've seen are galvanized. In this installation the elbow is outside the building. I'm thinking a Galvanized pipe would work in this particular install. This is an out building / barn so an Insurance company's going ballistic would not be a factor.

What are your thoughts? Regards: john
