The coming weather is nasty on all counts from the weather service.

I have 500 pounds of bagged stove coal(450 in the truck now) for
additional ballast. I figure I have that much chestnut coal left in
the dump trailer. I wish I had put the sideboards on the trailer
and loaded it to two tons. Once I get the mule back from the
John Deere hospital on Monday morning I will be more prepared
for what they say is coming.

I am unsure if I will put the chains on after I come back from town
on Sunday. I probably will considering NYSDOT and their track record
of making ice dams with six inches of water flowing under the ice dams
from the property above me like last year.

I hope the old farmer and everyone along the Erie Canal Corridor is ready.

Went and picked up 2.5 ton yesterday and burned probably 2.5 ton in the last 40 days with the cold. My Wife forgot to shut the garage door the other day , so my drive way melted around the house after 8 hours . :o :o

More fuel for the winter storm warning fire.

I could not upload the current storm warning image from the
National Weather Service.

I guess I have to become more computer literate and invest
in a new desktop computer as my laptop is on its last legs.

Its gotten warmer here on my mountain at 1,140 feet above
mean sea level and that is a worry only because of the potential
for tree limbs ripping down the 4,000 volt high voltage cables in town.

I hope that you all will be alright tonight and through tomorrow.

Hopefully the Green painted mule will be back early from the Deere hospital in Horseheads.

I will need to install the snow chains a little later if FreeTown Fred
needs to be rescued so Hamden Bob does not have to commute from Ohio.
I will only have to worry about getting by the sheep with the machine guns
in the guard towers at the bottom of the driveway to the farm.

Look under Accessories on your computer for Snipping Tool.

Use it to draw a square around the section you want to copy. Be sure to change the type to JPG when you save it. You can then upload whatever screen or partial screen you want to select.

Just be wise about any copyrights using this method. It's generally acceptable in online forums to provide a screenshot or snippet as long as you link to the original source for the complete story. Sometimes news sources complain (they are usually wrong), but it's easier to remove if they complain than fight it. 95% not a problem. "News" cannot be copyrighted. Their "style" of relaying the news can. Confused yet? Lol.

An example (not news related) is the Taco pump curve chart. Taco provides a pdf for public reference usage. In a recent thread, I provided a screenshot of the relevant section so everyone didn't have to download the pdf and then search for the part I referenced, then also provided a link to the original, full document.

In this weather chart situation, I would snip it. But it's "responsible" to mention the other stuff ;)

It appears that storm number three is on its way.

Fred- be sure to get the sheep good and drunk on fermented
sugar beet greens or Saki before I come by to rescue you as the only
way I know that worked is seeing that they have fallen out of the
guard towers and are sleeping it off in the deep snow

My mule should be back from the hospital by
tomorrow afternoon finally.
