BBC News article.
"In contrast to the Arctic, the extent of sea ice in the Antarctic has come close this year to breaking its satellite-monitored record for maximum area of 16.03 million sq km." :shh:

Good point, I forgot to mention that.
Also, regarding the proclamations of the melting Arctic ice cap causing the ocean's level to rise: My understanding that the Arctic ice cap is just that-a mass of ice floating in the Arctic ocean, there is no land under it.
Take a glass, fill it with ice and then add water. As the ice melts does the level in the glass rise or stay the same? Last time I checked, it remained the same. Apply this to the melting of the floating Arctic ice cap. Now explain to me how this is going to cause the ocean's levels to rise.
I don't think I'll have beach front property anytime soon.

He was lip syncing a Will Farrel skit from Sat night live. Pretty funny.

Recored snow and cold? Ever seen The Day After Tomorrow? Al Gore is full of it. If I got paid as much as he did to talk about it, I probably would too.

AlGore: Global Warming 'Deniers' are Flat Earthers
"AlGore says those who still doubt that global warming is caused by man - among them, Vice President Dick Cheney - are acting like the fringe groups who think the 1969 moon landing never really happened, or who once believed the world is flat."

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/03/ ... 4389.shtml

Au contraire:

Michael Duffy, co-host of Counterpoint interviewed Jennifer Marohasy, a biologist and senior fellow of Melbourne-based think tank the Institute of Public Affairs.

Duffy asked Marohasy: "Is the Earth still warming?"
She replied: "No, actually, there has been cooling, if you take 1998 as your point of reference. If you take 2002 as your point of reference, then temperatures have plateaued. This is certainly not what you'd expect if carbon dioxide is driving temperature because carbon dioxide levels have been increasing but temperatures have actually been coming down over the last 10 years."
Duffy: "Is this a matter of any controversy?"
Marohasy: "Actually, no. The head of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has actually acknowledged it.

When should he return the nobel peace prize? Not that it matters.

ALGORE is at it again...

http://www.star-telegram.com/national_n ... 53276.html

Considering he has made a career out of man-made global warming I can understand his liberal inclination to spend lots of money to try to reinforce his sinking ship, lest he be made a fool of.
