Randy

The price list is complete and online. I will post the link on your Geneva Oak thread. It will be easier for others to find in the future.

OK , I'm waiting for the finial, top trim ring, base, and front foot rest to come back from the plating shop so I wanted to post a progress update.

The stove is all disassembled and I'm working on rust removal and refinishing all the pieces. My original plan was to soak and buff out the top front nickel badge and the side footrests . I wasn't satisfied with the number of bare spots so I think I'm going to strip them and have them replated also.

Thanks guys, I like the three sided mica on this little stove.

I had to drill out two screws , other than that everything is going nice. It looks like I'll be done with this one long before the nickel comes back from the plating shop.

I should have my trim back from the plating shop next week.

Everything else is cleaned up and finished with two coats of stove polish, and ready for reassembly.

I finished casting a new refractory liner over the weekend and will give it a slow primary cure in the powder coat oven.before I finish the cure in the Alaska ash pan.

Thanks Don,

My bride wasn't real happy with me cutting of the bottom of her flower pot for a casting template.

I guess I have to cast a new bottom in the flower pot now :rambo2:

Nice. I can see and feel you are absorbed in this thing and enjoying it. Like you I could just sit and look at it for hours. One bit at a time.

Waiting for the Nickel leaves a lot of time for admiration. And yes, I an enjoying this one.
I decided last minute to have the hinge pins replated, so I put brass bolts in temporary in order to fit the doors.

At this rate I think I will have more money spent on Coors Light than on the plating! Meanwhile I'm stripping down and working on the Royal Stewart 155.

The plating for the Dickson Oak isn't due back till the end of May , so that one is on the back burner.
