Hi,

Does anyone know the exact size of the screws that go into the interior gasket ring on the AA 260 Auger head? If these screws do not fit, what is the maximum length screw that can be put in there? Thanks.

Manual says 10-24 x 3/4. On mine they were the same as the screws that hold the split brass bearing between the transfer head and auger tube. I couldn't find the box of screws I bought to find out for sure mine were 10-24, but you could take one out of the brass bearing to find out for sure. I think they could be longer without issue, though the longer they are the more threads are exposed passed what the screw threads into, leaving them to be damaged and possibly harder to remove down the road. I used torx heads myself. Flat heads can be tough to remove down the road, but not as badly as phillips. And I've always had bad luck with allen heads. So torx it was!
