Has anyone had any experience with a Wonderluxe circulator from US Stove? The info sheet says a combination wood/coal fired unit. I plan on using only coal with it. There's a circulator fan that operates off a surface thermostat with a temperature range of 90-120 degrees. It mentions a 50 lb hopper, but the picture doesn't show a hopper anyplace. It's supplied with ten firebrick along the front and back wall. A coal shaker comes supplied with it. The reviews are varied.

I realize these combo stoves are most likely on sale but there are dedicated coal stoves out there that will offer better results. just my 2 cents.

I'll jump in on this one
Yes it's not the most glamorous stove out there but some time and knowledge and this stove will perform fine . I paid less than 500 for mine 4 or 5 years ago. I burn coal and wood in mine and right now I have a 7 day coal fire going . Here in Pa it is in the minus degree range. 71 degrees in my house. I burn nut coal in mine both Lehigh and reading. Matter of fact I'm heading out for 10 more bags of Lehigh . Manual pipe damper is a must imo. Watch the video on u tube about shaking the ash down using flat stock steel and you find the stove pretty user friendly.
My wish list for other stoves out weighs my wallet by a lot .
Have fun with what ever u purchase

Good points Craig, I can not refute those that have success with these units as many of us a driven by cost. Thankfully there are people like you and others here to lend a helping hand.
Mike.
