UUNI Pizza Oven

Has anyone gotten one of these little jewels yet? Mine just arrived! 850 degrees in 15 minutes. uuni.net

Watch the videos of the Uuni 2, the newer stainless steel version. Pretty darn amazing. No, it shouldn't be expected to compare to a $2500 one ton wood fired pizza oven but it looks like it does a decent job. I'll find out shortly if it ever gets above freezing!

You've never seen how pizza is made in a wood fired oven??? They swept the ash toward the back and throw the pizza in. That's it.
That video is of the original design, not the latest design, the Uuni 2. Completely different animal.

Stick with the frozen variety. :)

Here's the first pizza out of my little Uuni 2. It took 2 minutes 20 seconds including time to pull it out and turn it 180* on the peel. Made 3 of them and they are GONE!!! 10" diameter.
It took 15 minutes to get the good coals going and for everything to stabilize.

Or, Andy's in Manor haven/Port Washington ! Oh, for one of their "garbage pies" !!!! ;)https://www.facebook.com/pages/Andys-Pi ... 6355785083

But, why go to all that trouble when you can have a coal-fired pizza oven 24/7, that not only heats the house, it cooks the other meals, boils water, dries the clothes, ......

Cookin' with coal :D

Up near my sisters summer home at Kueka Lake, NY, at the Harvest and Artisans Market, they have wood fired pizza there. it's really good. Always have some when we go up in the summer.

This is there home built oven, and they do approx. 9" personal pizza's. Mmmmm. ;) :)
