Ohhh would I have loved to own one of those hot tubs when I was 17! The ladies would have LOOOOVED that thing!

That would've been a great addition to my summer keg parties when the parents took off with the camper. :D

Yeah man! We've had some great parties with that hot tub! Long nights into the small hours with drinks and the BoneYard pumping thru the outdoor speakers :) I've actually made trips back and forth to the fridge with bare feet in my birthday suit thru snow and ice to fetch beers. Good thing it's only a 40 foot hike :woot:

Unfortunately the chicks don't share my enthusiasm about getting in and out of it when it's 10 degrees outside hahaha.. This summer I want to build a 12x12 room around it so it's more enjoyable to use during the cold months. I sure will miss seeing the night sky from the tub though..

Very nice Lightning,
Outside looking at the stars, a cigar and a brew, that's living!
So how did you hook up your heat exchanger ?

Dave

Thanks for the kind words Dave :) actually I didn't use a heat exchanger. I spliced into a jet line and ran pex tubing to and from the furnace. Hot tub water circulates thru a stainless steel coil in the fire box of the coal furnace. I have a small zone pump that runs 24/7 to keep the tub warm.
